Aging Matters LLC was founded by Terry Ann Donner, a Registered Nurse, an Elderlaw attorney, a Certified Geriatric Care Manager, a Daughter and a Caregiver.  With thirty years of experience in nursing and law, Terry  has a wealth of experience in caring  and planning for aging adults.  Raised in a multigenerational household, Terry has a deep love for and interest in helping older adults maintain their independence and secure quality care.  It is Terry’s desire that caregivers have a solid Roadmap known as a Care Plan to guide them through the challenges of caring for the older person they love.

For more than 10 years, Terry Donner from Aging Matters, was the care manager for Miriam R. Copperman, our mother. Our first meeting with her was to review several options for independent living facilities. Very soon, however, Terry’s knowledge of everything and anything having to do with planning for and helping with seniors became very evident.

Terry’s background and training, both medical and legal, were invaluable as our mother grew older and her physical and social needs became more complex. Terry’s advice and counsel were sought on a constant basis to assist with our mother’s day-to-day living needs.

Terry was there every step of the way. Terry worked with our mother on doctor appointments, on medication planning and management, on helping her with her taxes, and her checkbook. Terry became a member of our family, loved and trusted. Our mother had an incredibly rich last decade of her life, and Terry was the person who made that happen.
